These offerings include History, Language Arts, Math, and Science for middle and high school students. These classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • History: History is more than kings and conquests—it’s the story of cultures, connections, and everyday lives. This course explores the medieval era from a worldwide and cultural perspective, beginning in Europe before expanding to the Byzantine Empire, the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Learn more
  • Language Arts: This class will have a strong emphasis for practicing exercises and assignments that cover grammar, essay writing, and creative writing. This course will also explore the rich and diverse literary traditions of the medieval period, focusing on iconic texts that have shaped our understanding. Learn more

Electives

Elective classes are open to all prospective students with a maximum of 12 students per class. Priority is given to students enrolled in a full arts or academic program.

  • Mindfulness: this course gives students the tools to better understand themselves and lead with confidence. Learn more
  • Our foreign language conversation clubs meet in the evening. Current language offerings are Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL) Learn More
  • The Interact Club of Hazelwood Gwinnett meets from 4p-5p on Tuesday afternoons. This service organization is affiliated with the Rotary Club of Lawrenceville and is open to students 12-18 years old.
  • Entrepreneurship: This hands-on course introduces middle and high school students to the exciting world of entrepreneurship, including business ownership and the modern creator economy. Learn more
