This full-year course helps creative teens develop essential adulting skills through the lens of real-world finances and entrepreneurship. Meeting once a week for 28 weeks, students will explore how to manage income and expenses, build a working budget, and weigh the pros and cons of renting vs. buying. We’ll break down the true cost of college—including tuition, loans, and scholarships—and dive into what it takes to build a financially sustainable life as a working artist or freelancer. Topics include saving, investing, and starting your own business—from idea to income. Whether planning for college, launching a creative career, or both, students will walk away with the knowledge and tools to confidently navigate their financial futures.
