This immersive language lab is designed for middle and high school students to develop practical
communication skills in Spanish, American Sign Language (ASL), and other offered languages. Students
will follow an adaptive online program for homework, allowing them to build vocabulary, grammar, and
comprehension skills.
Class time will focus on interactive language practice with structured conversation exercises,
role-playing, and group activities to encourage fluency and confidence. Students will engage in guided
discussions, real-life scenarios, and collaborative language challenges to reinforce their learning in a
supportive environment.
For ASL students, class sessions will emphasize expressive and receptive signing skills through
interactive dialogues and storytelling. Spanish students will practice pronunciation, sentence
structure, and everyday conversation topics.
By combining independent study with live interaction, this course provides a well-rounded approach to
language learning, helping students gain confidence and proficiency in their chosen language.
