In School Fieldtrips
Hazelwood Prep’s Instructor Expeditions Program brings our creativity and expertise to your school! Our visiting artist & educators lead fun, hands-on workshops and lessons that blend the arts with academics, giving students a fresh, engaging way to learn. These sessions support cross-disciplinary learning, spark curiosity, and help students explore new skills while having fun. Using our 7 years of experience creating out of box, educational experiences to students, we bring learning experiences that support your corriculum to you! Each expedition session is carefully planned to ensure alignment with the program’s goals, age-appropriate activities, and meaningful engagement.
Map Making!
90 min sessions
A fun, gamified, map making exercise that teaches basic cartography principles while engaging students in a game that shows how culture and community can transform their landscape.
$7-8 per child for a 60 child min. (Small class rate $10 per child)
(Teachers and parent chaperones participate for free)
Included:
A fun, hands on experience for all participants. All supplies for lessons, workshops, and exercizes provided. Adaptable exercises that visiting instructors can replicate or modify for students. Delivered by trained arts professionals and educators exercises can be scaled based on grade elementary-through high school Alligned with (GSE) Georgia Standards of Excellence.

Its mission is to help students thrive creatively and academically while providing educators with innovative teaching strategies and experiences that extend beyond the traditional classroom.
