This course explores the medieval era from a worldwide and cultural perspective, beginning in Europe before expanding to the Byzantine Empire, the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Learn more

Language Arts

This class will have a strong emphasis for practicing exercises and assignments that cover grammar, essay writing, and creative writing. This course will also explore the rich and diverse literary traditions of the medieval period, focusing on iconic texts that have shaped our understanding. Learn more

Math Lab

Students will be met where they are in their math journey, using an adaptive online program that allows them to work at their own pace. Instructors will provide personal attention, guiding students through challenging concepts and offering targeted support as needed. Learn more

This course explores the periodic table of elements, examining its structure, historical development, and each element group's chemical and physical properties. Learn more

Elective Classes

Elective classes are open to students in the Fine Arts Track, the Academic Education Track, and Middle School a la Cart students. If there is available class space, students who are not otherwise enrolled at Hazelwood Prep may be allowed to join a class. Learn more

OTHER CLASSES

The Fine Arts Track

Students on the Fine Arts Track will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the school year. Classes in Dance, Art, Theatre, and Music will be available to high school students. A middle school performance option will be available.

Electives and Events

Hazelwood Prep hosts a variety of electives and events open to the community. The Interact Club of Hazelwood Gwinnett is a service club for middle and high school students sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lawrenceville. Each month we host a Teen Open Mic night on the last Thursday of the month.
